Privacy Policy for Stock Alert Vue

1. Information We Collect

The App does not require you to create an account and does not collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number).

The stock symbols, watchlists, portfolio entries, and alert preferences you add are stored locally on your device only. This data is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and we have no access to it.

2. Data Sent Over the Network

To display stock prices, charts, and related news, the App sends the stock symbols and search terms you enter to Yahoo Finance's public market-data service (query1.finance.yahoo.com). This is the only outbound network communication the App performs. We do not operate our own servers and do not receive or store this data ourselves. Please refer to Yahoo's own privacy policy for how they handle requests made to their service.

3. Notifications

The App can send you local price-alert notifications based on the alert conditions you set. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device; no notification data is sent to or through any server we control.

4. Analytics, Advertising, and Third-Party Tracking

The App does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking or crash-reporting services. No usage data is collected or shared for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all watchlist, portfolio, and settings data stays on your device, uninstalling the App or clearing its app data removes this information. We do not retain any copy of it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
